Found "blog" from when blogs didn't exist 1

From my research, this seems to be from my second year of summer employment at Mannington Mills, which makes it the summer before Junior Year of Messiah, ergo, 2004 Summer :)

"B101 just said 'legends of soft rock.' I'm sorry, but I just think that is a contradiction in terms.

"So chivalry or even just common courtesy is dead. I saw him rotting on the side of the road on my way out of the cafeteria today. On my way in, two women were holding lunch containers and trying to get out of the building, so naturally, I held the door for them since my arms were unburdened. It seemed the polite thing to do. While I was getting my cup of soup, a bunch of men who work in the office finished their lunch and were getting ready to leave, standing by the door, waiting for everyone to finish clearing the tables. Two you, able-bodied athletic looking men stood by the door as I approached, almost maiden-like in my white peasant skirt, soup and money in hand. They were blocking my way and I figured they would hold the oddly heavy doors open for me as I passed. But no. They didn't even move out of my way until I said 'excuse me' and then they only moved far enough out of my way so that I could squeeze out the doors into the blazing heat. Two crows flew down out of a tree and landed on a heap outside the door. It was chivalry, he had finally given up the ghost."
